A Ridge Walk for Nervous Legs

Svc1

Everyone remembers their first ridge. Mine involved a lot of sitting down. This route is the one I wish someone had given me instead.

Why this ridge, and not the famous one

The path never narrows past a comfortable stride, the drops are grassy rather than gothic, and there are three natural pause points where sitting down looks like admiring the view rather than negotiating with your legs.

Take the long lunch at the second cairn. The summit isn’t going anywhere, and neither should you for at least twenty minutes.
